GP partners Adelaide is a not for profit company and is part of a national network of Divisions of General Practice supported by the Commonwealth and State Governments to provide service and support to general medical practice to achieve improvements in population health.
GP partners Adelaide administers the State-wide Obstetric Shared Care contract on behalf of the SA Department of Health. In this role, you will co-ordinate operational and administrative activities for the successful achievement of program deliverables as stipulated in the State contract. This will involve the organisation of GP accreditation seminars and continuing professional development events, liaison with GPs and the Obstetric Shared Care midwives in each of the major hospitals as well as oversight of the Obstetric Shared Care database. Marketing and promotion is also integral to the role.
Applications are sought from registered nurses interested in project co-ordination. Previous experience in midwifery would be advantageous.
