Mental Health Clinician

GP partners Adelaide is a not for profit company and is part of a national network of Divisions of General Practice supported by the Commonwealth and State Governments to provide service and support to general medical practice to achieve improvements in population health.

In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of a clinical service within general practice to people who have significant mental health disorders and are living in the community. This includes improving the communication, collaboration and referral pathways between general practice, government and non-government mental health services to provide an integrated system of care.

Applications are sought from mental health clinicians with experience working with clients with mental health disorders. A relevant tertiary qualification, in Psychology, Nursing, Social Work or Occupational Therapy is essential.

The practice is a purpose built building with four consult rooms, treatment room, kitchen-staff room and adequate storage.

The focus of the second practitioner in the practice has been paediatric. The retiring doctor has a long established general practice clientele and a strong nursing home presence.

Other services at the practice include speech therapy, enuresis, sleep clinic and skin cancer reviews.

Medical Receptionist required for small accredited computerised practice in Norwood. Well supported pleasant, friendly environment. Hours would be Wednesday afternoon 1pm – 5.30pm and alternate Thursdays 9am - 1pm (proficiency with computer programs Pracsoft and Medical Director preferred).
